Chirp is deployed in two versions (right click on links and select “save target” to download):
Windows: an executable installer (1.9 Mb)
Others: a files-only archive (2.4 Mb)
How to use it
First download Scratch. Chirp requires and plugs into a working Scratch installation.
Windows: First install Scratch 1.2.1, then Chirp. An uninstaller is also provided. Uninstalling Chirp will not affect Scratch.
Others: The file named “Chirp.remix” is a Squeak image file, which can be launched by dropping it onto the Scratch virtual machine (Schratch.exe or Scratch.app).

Setting up the Chirp screensaver
The Windows installer adds a screensaver named “Chirp” to the list of available screensavers, which can be activated in the Windows control panel. It will play a random project from the Scratch-projects folder each time it runs.
